Submit an Event
Events hosted by or affiliated with ECU can be submitted here for sharing on ecuad.ca and possibly in email newsletters and social media posts.
Eligible events include:
- Fundraising events in direct support of ECU
- On-campus events by and for students, staff, faculty and alumni
- Off-campus exhibitions or events hosted or organized by ECU
Events that don’t meet these criteria can be submitted to the Notice Board. We may remove submissions that contravene our community guidelines.
If your event has multiple happenings, such as a reception and an exhibition, submit these as separate events. This will ensure they appear on the website in correct chronological order, and allow us to promote them at the correct times.
Publishing Schedule
Important! Submit your event at least two weeks before start.
- This will allow it to be included in email newsletters.
- This also ensures that people have enough lead time to plan to attend.
- Events are reviewed and published every Thursday; if your event is submitted less than two weeks out, you may miss this cut-off.
To edit or cancel your event, contact communications@ecuad.ca. Edits are not always possible due to time constraints.
