Shops + Studios
Studio culture is at the heart of your educational experience at Emily Carr University, with spaces where you can create, learn, collaborate, experiment, and play.
2D+ Experiment Animation students work in our spacious, well-equipped shops and studios.
2D+ Experimental Animation students have access to facilities such as:
- Spacious and well-equipped Animation Studio, which offers access to industry-standard 2D, 3D and post-production software
- Stop-motion, Integrated Motion Studio and editing suites
- Film + Screen Arts Studio and New Media + Sound Art Lab
Students may also access a wide variety of additional shops and studios on campus, such as Sculpture Wood Shop, Digital Fabrication Lab, Flexible Materials Lab and more.
Expert Technical Staff
Each space is maintained by expert technical staff who collaborate with faculty and staff to provide students with instruction and guidance.
Technical staff ensure safe and accessible working environments and lead instructional workshops to enhance your learning.
