In a new video, the designer and ECU Master of Design student recounts her experience working with Peliplat, a film & TV storytelling platform, to help enhance their digital presence.

In 2025, Emily Carr University of Art + Design (ECU) Master of Design student Grishma Shah (MDes 2026) accepted an internship with Peliplat, a global community connecting film fans and storytellers.

Over five months, she worked with the Peliplat team on a diverse range of design tasks aimed at enhancing their digital presence and growing usership across the globe.

Thanks to the generous support of Mitacs, a national, non-profit research accelerator, the paid internship gave Grishma an opportunity to mobilize her degree learning in an applied research context, gain crucial work experience, build out her professional network, and develop a valuable case study for her thesis.
