Summer 2026 Undergraduate

Please note that the Summer semester is quite different from the Fall and Spring semesters with separate add/drop deadlines, withdrawal details and two terms within the summer period.

Before enrolling, note that your year for Summer Registration is based on your current year level as of Spring 2026. Most courses are not reserved for majors in the summer, but prerequisites are still required.

Review the following key items ahead of registration:

Summer 2026 Withdrawal Information

Once you have registered for a Summer class, you will not be charged fees for dropping courses up until the term’s add/drop deadline as long as you maintain registration in at least one course (in either Summer Term).

Through MYEC, you are able to drop all but one course. If you choose not to take any Summer classes after registering, the last course will require completion of a withdrawal form and a fee will be applied.

If you decide to drop all courses before the term’s add/drop deadline (May 8 for Summer Term 1, May 12 for the Combined Term, July 6 for Summer Term 2), there will be no record of the courses on your transcript and you will be responsible for 25% of the tuition of one 3-credit class.

If you decide to withdraw from any courses (even from one course) after the drop period ends (May 8 for Summer Term 1, May 12 for Combined Terms, July 6 for Summer Term), a “W” standing will be recorded on your transcript for the class(es) and you will not be eligible for a refund.

The “W” standing does not affect your GPA. Course withdrawal requests received after the withdrawal deadlines (May 29 for Summer Term 1, July 10 for Combined Terms, July 24 for Summer Term 2) will result in a grade of “F” being assigned.

Failure to pay your tuition fees by the deadline will be treated as a withdrawal. You will be removed from your courses, a “W” standing will be recorded and you will be responsible for full tuition fees.

Please review our Withdrawal Instructions and Forms.

Be sure to check the correct deadline date for your specific Summer term before dropping any courses.

DeadlineDateWhat to Expect
Add/Drop DeadlinesSummer Term 1: May 8

Combined Terms: May 12

Summer Term 2: July 6
You can drop courses on MYEC without a “W” on your transcript and get a full refund (if you stay in at least one corse).

Dropping all courses requires a withdrawal form and you will be responsible for 25% of the tuition of one 3-credit course.
Withdrawal DeadlineSummer Term 1: May 29

Combined Terms: July 10

Summer Term 2: July 24
Withdrawing from a class after the add/drop deadline but before this date results in a “W” on your transcript, with no refund.

Any requests after the withdrawal deadline will result in an “F” grade on your transcript.
Tuition Payment DeadlineAll Summer terms: May 15If tuition is not paid by the deadline, you will be withdrawn from your courses, receive a “W” on your transcript, and remain responsible for full tuition fees.
