Adobe Acrobat is an important tool for art and design students, making it easy to create, edit and share PDFs for classes, projects and portfolios.

All undergraduate ECU students have access to Adobe Acrobat Cloud included through their tuition.

Learn how to log in, download and start using it to support your creative and academic work.

Setting Up your Adobe Creative Cloud Account

To begin accessing your ECU Adobe Suite, you must first give your Adobe consent. This allows ECU to disclose your ECU email address to Adobe.

  1. Sign in to your MYEC account.
  2. Under Academic Profile, click on Adobe Consent.

If you give Adobe consent to use your ECU email, then it will take about 1 – 2 business days to assign Adobe access to your account.

  • Once you receive an email from Adobe with “Access Granted”, then your account has been created successfully. Please follow the instructions in the email to set up your ECU Adobe ID.

If you do not give Adobe consent to use your ECU email, then you choose an alternative email address that does not contain your first or last name.

Provides us with your alternate address by completing the home use software form.

Your ECU Adobe Account

Your ECU Adobe account will be created automatically 1-2 days after you provide your consent in MYEC.

When your account is ready, you will receive an email from Adobe with the subject line “Get started with Pro Edition”. At this point you may sign into Adobe using your ECU username and password (the same credentials you use for MYEC and Microsoft 365).

Using Creative Cloud on Campus

You will use your Adobe ID to use Adobe software on ECU campus computers. Computers in labs, the library, and in other student accessible locations require you to login with your Adobe ID in order to use the Adobe software installed on the computer.

Log out of your Adobe account before you walk away from using a shared computer. You are solely responsible for securing your Adobe account through the process of logging out.
