Join Emily Carr University’s Graduate Studies team and the Aboriginal Gathering Place (AGP) team for a collaborative information session exploring graduate education opportunities for Indigenous students at Emily Carr.
Whether you’re considering a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) or Master of Design (MDes), or are simply curious about what graduate studies could look like for you, this session offers an opportunity to learn more, ask questions and connect with our community.
Together, we’ll explore:
- Graduate Programs at ECU: Learn about our MFA and MDes programs, including approaches to creative practice, research and interdisciplinary learning.
- Admissions and Applications: Get an overview of application requirements, portfolio preparation and the admissions process.
- Indigenous Student Experiences and Support: Learn about the Aboriginal Gathering Place, its role in supporting Indigenous students, and opportunities to connect with community and resources at ECU and beyond.
This session is designed for Indigenous students and creative practitioners to explore how graduate education can support their artistic, design and research aspirations.
