Welcome to a selection of final projects from SCIE 202 and HUM 307, taught by Dr. Poh Tan.
These works invite you into science as more than information: science as relationship, responsibility and lived experience.
Moving from salmon returning to restored creeks, to the surprising care stories of bacteria, to the braiding of Western and Indigenous sciences, to an illustrated reflection on the emotional weight of cancer in a family, students use art and design to make scientific knowing tangible, ethical and felt.
We invite you to spend time with these projects, and to consider how learning science in an arts and design context can shape not only what we understand, but how we live with what we come to know.
