Hyung-Min Yoon

Hyung-Min Yoon is a visual artist working between Vancouver, Canada and Seoul, Korea. Her practice spans diverse media, with an interest in language, translation, and the elemental roots of meaning. Yoon received her BFA from the Korean National University of the Arts, Seoul, and her MFA from Chelsea College of Arts, London.

Her work has been featured in exhibitions including the 13th Seoul Mediacity Biennale Séance: Technology of the Spirit (SeMA, 2025), Melting Zone (TAXA Seoul, 2023), Seedling (Art Gallery at Evergreen, Coquitlam, 2021), and Where do we go from here? (Vancouver Art Gallery, 2020). She has been invited to artist residencies at the Gyeonggi Creation Centre(GCC) in Korea and Kunsthalle Exnergasse(KEX) in Austria.

She is a member of Seoul-based artist-run group Public Question which considers new form of research-based public art.
