Description (ECIAD)Expand your drawing practice using the expressive medium of pen and ink. Focusing primarily on different applications of India and Chunghua black ink, brushes, nibs and calligraphy tools, you will learn to create a range of work from photo-realistic to abstract and everything in between. Experiment with ink and wash as you explore elements and principles of art including tone, texture, line, gesture, proportion and visual balance. By the end of this course, you will have gained experience with a range of possible mark-making techniques using different types of inks and tools.
