Dear ECU Community,
We’re writing to inform you of some changes that will be happening to current parking fees on campus. After maintaining the same monthly rate since January 2020, ECU will be implementing an increase to the monthly parking fee from $96.35 to $115.62, effective September 1, 2026. The revised rate will apply equally to staff, faculty and student parking passes. Since student passes are purchased by term, this is a change from $385.39 to $462.48 per term.
We recognize that parking is an additional cost for many of our community members. Since 2017, ECU has subsidized a large portion of parking costs through Ministry funding; however, the current rate no longer covers the full cost of leasing parking stalls. The fee adjustment is necessary to ensure the ongoing access and sustainability of our parking program.
