3D Materials + Media (CSVA 101)

Using traditional and unconventional materials, this course will help expand your creative horizons, venturing into the tactile and immersive world of three-dimensional work. Whether you're entering a new chapter of your artistic practice or seeking to reinvigorate your creative approach, this course encourages you to push the boundaries of your craft and venture into uncharted territory. Recognizing the diverse interests of our students, this course is interdisciplinary, welcoming those passionate about various media and materials, be it drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, animation, illustration, or beyond. By the end of this course, you'll emerge with an appreciation for the tactile and transformative power of 3D materials and media, challenging your creative boundaries and making room for growth.
