Summer 2025 Undergraduate
Please note that the Summer semester is quite different from the Fall and Spring semesters with separate add/drop deadlines, withdrawal details and two terms within the summer period.

Key Dates
You can register for your term at 8:00 am PST until the add/drop deadline for your respective Summer term.

Summer Term + Courses
Term 1 runs from May 6 – June 21 and Term 2 runs from July 2 – August 16, along with courses offered in combined terms from May 6 – August 16.
Before enrolling, note that your year for Summer Registration is based on your current year level as of Spring 2025. Most courses are not reserved for majors in the summer, but prerequisites are still required.

Summer 2025 Withdrawal Information
Summer Withdrawal Deadlines – Term One
Term One Courses (May 6 – June 21)
Thursday, May 8
Deadline to add, drop, or switch Term 1 courses.
From Opening Day of Registration until May 8
Students will not be charged fees for dropping courses as long as they maintain registration in at least one course. Through MYEC students are able to drop all but one course, and cannot drop the last course. That last course will require completion of a withdrawal form*.
Dropping all courses is considered a withdrawal and students will be held responsible for 25% of the tuition of the one course and a grade of W will be assigned to that course, even if the course has not yet started. After May 8 there are NO REFUNDS for switched, dropped, or withdrawn Term 1 courses. If you have not yet paid tuition for Term 1 courses, it will be due on withdrawn courses.

Term One Courses (May 6 – June 21)
Monday, June 2 — Last day to withdraw from Semester 1 courses without academic penalty.
- No refunds are available after May 8.
- A grade-neutral W will appear on the transcript for withdrawn courses.
- Withdrawal requests after June 2 will result in a grade of F.

Semester 2 Courses (July 2 – August 16)
Friday, July 4 — Deadline to add, drop, or switch Semester 2 courses.
- From Opening Day of Registration until July 4
