READ Books + ECU Press

READ Books is Emily Carr University’s specialized art bookstore. It offers a curated selection of books, monographs, exhibition catalogues, critical theory, artists’ editions, magazines and course textbooks. As an active hub for Vancouver’s publishing community, READ regularly hosts public book launches and readings, supporting a vibrant ecology of artists’ publishing.

ECU Press publishes artists’ books, monographs, collected writings and music projects, highlighting both emerging Vancouver-based voices and international artists. All publications are available through the Libby Leshgold Gallery.
