Career + Work Integrated Learning
The Career Development + Work Integrated Learning Office at Emily Carr University (ECU) supports students and alumni to launch their creative careers.
We provide:
- 1-on-1 advising, career exploration, workshops, and information sessions focused on resumes, cover letters, portfolios, job search strategies, and interview preparation.
- The Work Experience Program, offering academic credit for eligible paid work, internships, co-ops and other professional experiences.
- Access to The Leeway, ECU’s job and mentorship platform featuring job postings, internships, exhibitions, artist calls, residencies, collaborations and peer networking.
We also provide employer partnerships and hiring support, connecting industry with ECU students and alumni through job postings, paid internships, mentorships, networking opportunities and access to emerging creative talent.

Hours
- September to May: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
- Summer: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4pm
