Grow creatively and professionally, wherever you are.
Our two-year low-residency MFA degree offers a flexible structure designed for working artists, creative practitioners and educators.
Combining immersive on-campus residencies with synchronous online coursework, the program supports sustained creative growth within your own community and studio context.
What You’ll Learn
This program combines experimental approaches to art-making, writing, and creative research through online studio classes, online research seminars and two immersive summer residencies. The online-first structure supports ongoing creative work in your home studio while fostering year-round rich engagement with peers, faculty and visiting artists.
Coursework emphasizes critical dialogue, independent research, and intensive studio practice. In support of a thesis project, you will refine your creative voice and expand your practice through a combination of material exploration and critical reflection.
