Get Up to $3,500 in Provincial Funding for ECU’s New Design Micro-Certificates

This fall, the StrongerBC future skills grant is back – offering eligible British Columbians up to $3,500 in funding to train for in-demand design careers at Emily Carr University Continuing Studies.

The StrongerBC future skills grant empowers British Columbians to shape their own futures. The grant covers up to $3,500 for eligible short-term skills training to support learners to stack their skills and further their careers. If you’re a B.C. resident aged 19 or older, you may qualify.

Four new micro-certificates from Emily Carr University of Art + Design (ECU) offer focused, hands-on pathways to build crucial knowledge and sought-after skills in design leadership and user interface (UI) design.

In two to eight weeks, these short-format programs combine flexible learning with practical skill-building, supporting your growth as a creative professional and helping you shape the next evolution of your career.

Seats for ECU’s Continuing Studies micro-certificates are filling fast and funding is limited—apply now for Fall 2025.
