Entrance Scholarships

Incoming students may be eligible for scholarships recognizing academic achievement and artistic potential. These awards include dedicated support for B.C. high school students and international applicants beginning their studies at ECU.

Tuition Scholarships

If you’re a student in your first, second or third year with strong academic standing, you may qualify for a tuition scholarship. These awards are based on GPA and distributed within each program area.

External Awards + Funding

In addition to ECU-administered aid, many external organizations offer scholarships, bursaries and student grants. These opportunities often require separate applications and may be tied to academic achievement, community involvement, or group affiliation.

DDM Micro-grants

Undergraduate students in the Faculty of Design + Dynamic Media (DDM) (Communication Design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Animation, Film + Screen Arts, and Ecological Design Practice) can apply for micro-grants of up to $350. These grants support student-led projects and events that build community and spark dialogue outside the classroom.
