Description

Have you ever been frustrated or delighted with an app or a website? The quality of their User Interface and User Experience designs have likely been behind the reason for your reactions. Building on the introduction to UI design, this course will expand your understanding and ability to build a complex design system from the ground up. You will learn how to build a design system to leverage fundamental principles of UI design, responsive design and accessibility. By the end of this course, you will have the necessary skills to deconstruct and construct design systems which will set you on the path to building engaging user interfaces and become a key contributor in any number of projects.

What You'll Learn

  1. Demonstrate how UI design influences applications, websites, devices and other products.
  2. Identify possible applications of design systems, navigation and responsive design beyond UI design
  3. Analyze existing design systems for their strengths, weaknesses, aesthetics and methodology.
  4. Apply the principles of UI design to design systems, navigation, and responsive design
  5. Create a design system for a personal brand or an existing brand.
  6. Prepare and present on your design system.
