Code Art is a dynamic and innovative form of artistic expression that uses computer programming to generate stunning visual art, design, and interactive experiences. Learning to code opens a world of opportunities in the digital age, enhancing your problem-solving skills and encouraging creativity by pushing the boundaries of what is possible in art and design. In this course, you'll be introduced to the creative side of programming languages HTML, CSS and Javascript, where lines of code become your paintbrush, and algorithms your canvas. You'll learn to combine traditional fine art techniques with computer programming to craft unique generative art projects, bringing digital paintings, animations, interactive art, web pages, and applications to life. You'll not only expand your artistic horizons but also acquire a valuable foundation in coding and programming languages, ready to apply your skills to art, design, or any other creative endeavor. This course is suited for those new to programming languages, or art and design practices, or both. It is an excellent opportunity to combine interests and skills toward expansive career opportunities.
