We live in exciting times, with technological advancements accelerating at an unprecedented pace. New technologies are creating opportunities to make art that was unthinkable even a few years ago, and milestones in computer graphics are bringing improvements in visual quality, interactivity and accessibility year over year. This course provides an opportunity to look back at significant VFX innovations of the last three decades, what exciting new technologies are coming to market today, and what innovations are already on the horizon. Through presentations and discussions led by a Visual Effects expert and future thinking prompts, you will discover the latest cutting-edge technologies and become versed in the issues affecting the evolving VFX industry. Get an overview of the latest science projects that might change how we work sooner than later.
