What are Work Experience Terms?
Work Experience Terms are structured, paid placements that allow undergraduate students in their third and fourth year to earn academic credit while gaining real-world experience.
These terms can be part-time or full-time, spanning 12 weeks during the summer, spring or fall semesters.
Employers can engage students for specific projects or general support roles.
Possible Student Contributions
ECU students contribute fresh ideas, technical skill and creative thinking to a wide range of roles. Here are just a few ways they can add value:
- Art: Visual Arts students can assist with fabrication, visual communication, curatorial, exhibition prep, visual content creation and community programming.
- Design: Students from Communication, Interaction, and Industrial Design bring skills in graphic and visual communication, prototyping, user experience design, and product development.
- Media: Animation and Film students support video editing, motion graphics and digital storytelling projects.
