Shannon McKinnon is an arts and culture professional with over 30 years of experience, committed to advancing the intersection of art, education and career development. She develops paid, meaningful opportunities that help emerging artists and designers launch sustainable careers. Over her 26 years at ECU, Shannon has built programs connecting students with industry, including Creative Industry Night, Crit Night, and the Indigenous Business Development Liaison role, fostering community, collaboration and pathways to professional success.
