Natasha Himer

University Secretary + Executive Director, Governance

Bio

Before joining ECU in 2022, Natasha worked as a consultant at a boutique governance firm, supporting post-secondary institutions, public and not-for-profit sectors in building strong governance and committee structures. Natasha commenced her career as an associate at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Toronto) before moving to an in-house counsel role at OMERS, one of Canada’s largest pension plans and institutional investors. She holds a Bachelor of Common Law and a Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from UBC. Natasha continues to volunteer through service on boards in the not-for-profit sector.
