Bio

A long-term member of the ECU community, Mark began as a Senior Accountant in 2006 and moved into subsequent positions including Manager, Budgets + Financial Reporting and Controller. He became Executive Director, Financial Services in 2019 and Interim Vice-President, Finance and Administration in 2025. Mark received his CPA in 2012 and holds a BA from the University of Victoria. He led the development and implementation of ECU’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework and program costing model, the first of their kind at ECU. Mark continually seeks ways to improve transparency and enhance communication with the ECU community.
