Bio

Ma Franchesca Silva is a Canadian 3D artist and educator who has taught over 300 students across more than half a decade. She has worked on feature films and animated series for Disney, Paramount, and Amazon Prime Video. A Google Scholar and Women in Games International representative, Franchesca has earned national awards in 2D and 3D animation. She teaches 3D animation, game design and VFX at top North American universities. Passionate about innovation and mentorship, she combines technical expertise with creative leadership to inspire the next generation of artists in the animation and visual effects industry.

In this introductory, technique-focused course, you will explore the fundamentals of time-based graphics with a strong emphasis on design principles such as composition, typography and rhythm.
