Research Interests
Jen's previous work in the custom fabrication and model-making industry, corporate gift design and production, and textiles education all influence her work in many areas of ECU: in the Soft Shop with pattern-making, sewing and textiles; with the laser cutters in the Digital Fabrication Lab; in the TARP research lab with the digital loom; as a textile and digital design skills instructor in Continuing Studies. Jen's personal practice is a collection of textile and technological learning and connections, spanning thousands of years. Currently spinning and weaving with hand and computer-controlled tools.
