George Papazian holds a BA from Simon Fraser University and was Instructional Lead and CEO at Make A Change Canada, managing web technology-related educational programs. He is Creative Lead & Front-End Developer at OptoMedia & Web Technologies. George is faculty at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and Capilano University and has taught at BCIT, Langara and the Art Institute of Vancouver. George focuses on real-world applications and industry-standard tools to help students succeed in the fast-paced world of web development and design.

Description

A continuation of Introductory Web Design, learn to create pages that are interactive, flexible and responsive. HTML and CSS frameworks help you build static web pages to display content on any device. This course will cover more advanced CSS, including selectors, flexboxes and preprocessors such as Syntactically Awesome Stylesheet (Sass), and the fundamentals of Javascript to add behavior to your web pages such as animations, menus, scrolling text, and user interactions. By the end of the course, you will be able to effectively create responsive and complex web applications.
