Bio
Adriana received her MFA degree from the Division of Animation and Digital Arts, School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California. Before joining academia, she worked as a senior digital trainer for teams of animators at Sony Pictures Imageworks. She has also collaborated with several independent directors creating visual effects for their award-winning projects.

Research Interests
Adriana's work explores the representation of non-human animals in animation, the ethics of multispecies storytelling, and the decolonization of animation pedagogy. Her current research creation practice focuses on decentering the human to recount stories from the perspectives of urban coyotes.
