Critical + Cultural Practice

Program Structure

This is a four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, majoring in Critical + Cultural Practice, offered through the Faculty of Culture + Community.

Students may earn credits through our Work Experience Program in years three and four.

First Year

All undergraduate programs begin with a Foundation Year, where you’ll explore art, design and media while building essential creative and critical skills. Through hands-on projects and theory-based learning, you’ll develop your artistic voice, form connections and gain the confidence to choose your path forward.

Second Year

You’ll dive into core courses in art and design history, cultural theory and writing. Studio
electives give you space to explore your creative interests while developing key academic skills. You can select a minor at the end of your second year.

Third Year

Fourth Year
