DescriptionThis course is an introduction to fundamental processes in Relief and Etching. Students will learn how to make etching, including working with a range of copper plate techniques and relief prints (lino and woodcut) on paper including an introduction to colour. The class will be taught through workshop demos and projects. Class critiques and tutorial discussion will encourage the student's artistic development. Emphasis will be on the critical examination of the students work, technical development the exploration of contemporary ideas.
