| Description | This studio course offers students the opportunity
to develop projects that respond to emerging
trends in digital media
and electronic art practices. Using a
practice-based research model, this course
provides time and space for
sustained engagement with a specific media topic.
Historical, theoretical and technical approaches
frame the topic
and encourage students to position their practice
in relation to broader discourses in media arts.
Students are
introduced to a variety of artists and example
pieces and learn to discuss current media
practices in both critical and
generative ways. |
