| Description (ECIAD) | Work Integrated Learning
Participating in the Work Integrated Learning
Program at Emily Carr gives students the
opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills
while earning co-op credits towards their degree.
It also allows students to further develop
employment skills, explore career options, and
network with potential employers, in order to give
students a competitive edge when entering the
workforce. Emily Carr University's Work Integrated
Learning Program integrates students'
classroom/studio learning with periods of paid
work. Terms run from January to April, May to
August, and September to December, and can be
either part-time or full-time in the fields of
media arts, visual arts and design.
