| Description (ECIAD) | This course offers a comprehensive introduction to

ceramic design. Through hands-on experience with
materials, students gain both practical and

landscape of art and design practices. Assigned
projects
are designed to enhance the development of
technical skills and cultural inquiry, and may

discussions, demonstrations, presentations, and
critiques. The course explores fundamentals of
ceramic
practices while examining concepts related to its
function, production, and a consideration of its
