| Description | This course builds on the experience of the
Transdisciplinary Immersion Studio and aims to
incorporate some of the learning from Design
Seminar I: Critical Theory. Conceptual and
practical issues germane to developing a robust
transformation design project are covered,
including information seeking and visualization,
primary and secondary research formulation and
articulation of findings, identification and
mediation of project weaknesses, development of a
self-reflective and self-reflexive practice
through journaling in a process book, and the
development and structuring of a series of
potential visual directions for the research
project. Diversity of options is a hallmark of
Transformation Design. |
