| Description | Illustration Advanced Studio classes aim to span
the studio and professional aspirations of the
participants. This class allows the students to
explore a range of visual and conceptual
possibilities and solutions in regards to
contemporary arts practice. Through this
experience, participants identify opportunities
to succeed in gallery and personal practice, with
an application to illustration markets and
industries. The structure of the Advanced Studio
course is determined by the faculty, in
collaboration with students, at the beginning of
the semester and may include presentations by the
instructor, assigned projects, reviews and
critiques of student work in progress,
presentations and critiques by visiting artists,
designers, curators and/or scholars, and class
trips or off-campus interactions. |
