DescriptionAn exploration of diverse technologies for work with sound and image, Media Practices will focus on praxis, offering students comprehensive historical, theoretical and practical experiences in conventional and experimental models for creating contemporary media art. Topics for this course will change according to student interest in historical and emerging technologies. Students will have regular critiques, and a tight timetable in which the projects must evolve from concept to completion. Students continue to refine their critical vocabulary, analytical and technical skills required for preparation for 4th year grad productions.
