| Description | A sound production course offering advanced
experience in sound recording and studio
techniques. Students will become familiar with
digital multi-track recording, signal processing,
sound manipulation, synthesis and composition.
Both the technical and aesthetic aspects of
creating sound works for a variety of mediums
including sound art, installation, sound
sculpture and sound for the moving image will be
covered. Lectures, demonstrations, and
discussions will be accompanied by a series of
assigned projects, which are presented in class. |
