| Description | This studio course provides a core experience in
visual arts. It introduces students to the
vocabularies, materials and methodologies of
contemporary three-dimensional visual art.
Through studio practice and projects,
demonstrations, presentations, and critiques,
students will explore the key ideas, elements,
and materials that form the basis of
three-dimensional visual art. Students will
consider, analyze, and reflect upon the use of
these ideas and principles contextualized in
social, historical, and contemporary frameworks. |
