Description (ECIAD)Discover the process behind crafting the products we use every day. This course provides an introduction to the foundational principles and processes of industrial design. You will embark on a design journey that begins with formulating a design brief, progresses to generating innovative concepts guided by design criteria, and emphasizes user-centred thinking. Engage in basic testing through prototyping with quick mock-ups and models. By the end of the course, you will showcase your designs using both 2D and 3D methods, with sketches and refined mock-ups. Gain practical, hands-on experience and valuable insights into the industrial design process.
