Description

This studio course introduces students to fundamental concepts of graphical change over time, including the sequencing of static and animated elements. Students develop a language of motion through the study of kinetic art and design, the psychological and physical factors underlying our perception of motion, and techniques for representing velocity, time-lapse, juxtaposition change, and visual illusions. The concepts acquired will be developed into studio projects using Adobe After Effects.

Priority is given to COMD, INDD and INTD students in Year 2. Students outside of the registration priority group may register/waitlist for this course as of the registration rule release date.
