| Description | The focus of this course is experimentation - the exploration of media, methods and allowing an idea to develop through many stages of pre-production. Students pitch and critique storyboards and animatics, visualize concepts, and examine different animation techniques. As a result of self-directed investigations, students will workshop and submit a proposal for a graduation project, including a statement of intent, budget, production schedule, and animation prototypes with sound. The course consists of lectures, screenings, workshops, and student presentations. This course is subject to priority rules; see here. |
