Bio

Arantxa (Cha-Cha) holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta, a Diploma in Art History from UBC, and a Master of Education degree in Art Education from the University of Victoria. She was a high school teacher in Edmonton for over 10 years before coming to ECU. She believes in the transformative power of art education and how art can engage young people in exploring their identity and making sense of the world.

Research Interests

Outside of ECU, she enjoys creating mixed media collages when she has the time to do so. She also enjoys running along the Seawall.
