If you’ve experienced or witnessed harm, help is available. Call 9-1-1 immediately if you are in danger or need urgent assistance.
You can also report behaviour that causes concern or creates an unsafe environment. ECU takes all reports seriously and responds with care, respect and confidentiality. Concerning behaviour can include:
- Sexual or gender-based violence
- Harassment and bullying
- Discrimination and racism
- Disruptive, threatening or violent behaviour

Understand the Options
The Student Resource Coordinator can help you explore your options for informal resolution, anonymous reporting and formal reporting. They can also help you understand available resources and university policies.
If you do choose to take formal action, the Student Resource Coordinator will be there to support you through the process.
Make a Report
You can submit a report if you have discussed informal resolution with the Student Resource Coordinator and determined it is not a suitable option.
You can use the Anonymous Reporting tool to submit a confidential, anonymous report about sex and gender-based violence. Visit the website for the ART here.
Make a Formal Report to report incidents of disruptive, unsafe or dangerous conduct to Student Safety.
