Key Supports + Programs
B.C. Provincial Tuition Waiver Program
The B.C. government created the Provincial Tuition Waiver Program (PTWP) to improve access to education for current and former children or youth in care of any age. The PTWP waives tuition and fees for BC students who are studying full-time or part-time below the graduate level attending a B.C. public post-secondary institution.
Visit the Provincial Tuition Waiver Program website to see if you meet the eligibility criteria for the program. If you are eligible, please contact the Financial Aid + Awards office at finawards@ecuad.ca for an application. Applications can take up to 6 weeks to process so students must apply well in advance of their study start date. Continuing Studies students should note that eligibility for the tuition waiver must be approved before registration.
Learning for Future Grant
The Learning for Future Grant provides an annual grant of $3,500 per program year to students who meet the eligibility criteria for the Provincial Tuition Waiver Program to assist with additional education related costs not covered by the Provincial Tuition Waiver Program (e.g. textbooks, computers, supplies, etc.). For more information, please see the Learning for Future Grant webpage.
Storwell Self Storage Bursary Fund
