Description

In this course, you’ll learn to harness the power of C++ scripting in Unreal Engine to turn your creative ideas into reality. Through hands-on projects, you’ll apply your understanding of Unreal Engine by building scripts that drive the behavior of objects, manage environments, and bring animations to life. The course will guide you through productive problem-solving techniques, allowing you to experiment with different ways to enhance user engagement, visual storytelling, and interactivity. By the end of the course, you’ll be equipped to create sophisticated, personalized projects within Unreal Engine blending coding with creativity.

What You'll Learn

  1. Setup C++ project, IDE Visual Studio configuration, declaring variables and compiling code.
  2. Create C++ classes, using actors, functions and vectors with level editor overview.
  3. Analyze C++ programming principles and debugging fundamentals.
  4. Create Unreal Engine blueprints and use them with C++.
  5. Understand how to move objects using C++ inside Unreal Engine.
  6. Execute conditional statements and logic operators in C++.
  7. Apply header files, inheritance and polymorphism in C++
