Description

Get started in graphic design with Adobe Creative Cloud. In this comprehensive, technical-focused course, immerse yourself in three of Adobe’s industry-leading graphics software—Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Gain fundamental knowledge of each program and learn to identify which software is appropriate for a project or task. Through short practical exercises, explore limitless graphic possibilities with raster and vector artwork, page layout and document creation, colour management, graphic styles and effects, typographic composition, and file formats.

What You'll Learn

  1. Identify appropriate creative applications for Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  2. Show how to add raster, vector and text-based assets from various Adobe CC applications in one document
  3. Demonstrate effective visual and typographic composition for layouts
  4. Manipulate and adjust vector and raster artwork with editing tools, graphic styles and effects
  5. Adjust and manage colour for visual effect and correct colour mode (RGB, CMYK)
  6. Export final documents and images with resolution and file formats appropriate for print and digital output
  7. Evaluate digitally created solutions and techniques for form and function
