In this comprehensive, project-based course, explore professional workflows and digital tools to create raster and vector graphics and illustrations with guided instructor support. Learn to control document size, file format, and colour for any media. Incorporate analog artwork into your digital compositions through scanning and live tracing. Explore distinct visual styles using layers and brush, pen, painting, and blending tools. Delve deeper into your personal illustration style and industry potential. Access an iPad with Apple pencil required.

What You'll Learn

  1. Identify appropriate creative applications for Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate
  2. Demonstrate how to use both desktop and tablet computers to create illustrations
  3. Explore and grow your personal or client-requested illustration style(s)
