Description

Learn the fundamentals of design thinking philosophy and mindset to tackle problems. You will learn human centered, organic, relatable, adaptable designing thinking techniques to better empathize with others, identify key problems, and determine possible solutions that prioritize a human engagement with design processes. Together with your peers, learn how to use design thinking to help ideate, collaborate, and creatively engage to solve any problem. At the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to share solutions with peers in a presentation.

What You'll Learn

  1. Identify problems by empathizing with humans and learning their contexts/ecosystems
  2. Focus on specific key problem within the contexts/ecosystems identified
  3. Ideate creatively on ways to solve for the specific problem and intended humans
  4. Choose key concepts that can solve the specific problem for the intended humans
  5. Show how story telling can make information relatable to diverse audiences
  6. Share the solution findings in a story telling approach
