MyEC: Manage Your Info, Courses and Records

MyEC provides key functionality in the following areas and is available to students, faculty, staff and alumni:

  • User profile: Adding/changing pronouns and chosen name (see below), home address, phone number and emergency contact.
  • Academic information: Course catalogue, registration and planning, viewing courses and grades and course evaluations
  • Financial information: Access to tax slips, pay stubs, etc.
  • Quick links: Forms, IT Service Desk contacts, etc.

Want to reset your MyEC password? Go here and click “Forgot Password” or “Forgot Username”.

Add your Chosen or Cultural Name to MyEC

You can update your chosen or cultural first name in MYEC to reflect how you’d like to be addressed across campus:

  1. Log in to MyEC
  2. Go to the My Account tab
  3. Click User Profile
  4. Enter your chosen/cultural name and save

Where Your Name Will Appear

  • MyEC class list and Student Planning
  • M365 email and calendar (updates may take up to two days)
  • Library + Media Resources systems (admin view)
  • Moodle
  • ECU Digital Wallet

Updating your name in MyEC does not automatically update it across all systems.

Please note that some special characters are not currently supported. We appreciate your patience as we improve.

Need your library name updated asap? Email esomers@ecuad.ca with your student number and updated name.
