You will explore the exciting process of transforming ideas into architectural spaces, picking up skills in idea generation, sketch modelling, and presenting impactful proposals. Through a hands-on, site-specific project, you will collaborate with peers and work individually to bring your concepts to life. Discover how to integrate location, context, structure, and function into innovative designs while developing the creative skills for architectural design. 

What You'll Learn

  1. Demonstrate a basic understanding of Architectural Design such as the history, terminology, various architectural styles and movements
  2. Apply Basic Design Principles and processes for Architectural Design to cover the locational, contextual, structural and functional and aesthetic aspects of a project.
  3. Acquire critical thinking & analytical problem-solving skills for Architectural Design and use them to develop reasonable design solutions.
  4. Explore, develop and refine architectural design concepts through sketching (2D medium).
